Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost attend the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Radhika Jones at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on February 09, 2020 in Beverly Hills, California.

It’s official — Scarlett Johansson may have been hiding her pregnancy, but her husband spilled the beans over the weekend during his stand-up set.

The Saturday Night Live star, 39, revealed the news on Sunday (August 15) during his set in Ridgefield, Connecticut. “We’re having a baby,” he said during the show. “It’s exciting.”

The Black Widow star, 36, sparked pregnancy rumors in June after skipping out on several in-person promotional events for the movie, while her virtual interviews were all close-ups, hiding everything below her shoulders.

Johansson was keeping things low profile, as we first reported on rumors of her pregnancy last month, but Jost must be getting antsy with anticipation of having his first child.

The new addition to the family will be Johansson’s second child — she’s also mom to 6-year-old daughter Rose whom she shares with ex-husband Romain Dauriac. Johansson and Jost tied the knot last October after three years of dating. The pair met on the set of SNL in 2006, but weren’t romantically linked until May 2017, when they were spotted kissing at an after-party (a few months after Johansson filed for divorce from Dauriac). They made their relationship public in December that year, announcing their engagement in May 2019.

Johansson called Jost “the love of my life” while appearing on SNL in December 2019. The 39-year-old Jost wrote of Johansson in his 2020 memoir, A Very Punchable Face: “I’ve met someone I love. And who I feel more comfortable with than I ever have before.”
