Jeff & Aimee are tipping their hats to a Las Vegas Metro Police officer.
Lt. Erik Lloyd served the Las Vegas community as a Metro Police officer for 30 years until he passed away from COVID-19 last year, according to KTNV.
To honor his legacy the city council has approved a measure to rename Teepee Lane in Lloyd’s memory.
Lloyd also led the Injured Police Officers Fund, which is an organization that provides financial help to families of police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
The street is on Lone Mountain Road and Teepee Lane in the northwest part of the valley.
