Have you ever done some spring cleaning and found something amazing and worth of value? Well, something similar happened to IKEA.
A location in Stockholm, Sweden recently discovered 50,000 face masks collecting dust in its warehouse. The IKEA location had stockpiled the face masks during their recent scare with bird flu.
After realizing what employees had found they immediately donated them to Sahlgrenska University Hospital, which is the largest hospital in Sweden.
“They were over the moon and said ‘What!? Wow! Just come!” Andersson told Reuters, the IKEA store logistics manager. “It feels great, in these times, when you read about so much unpleasantness with corona(virus) and all that, that we can show some solidarity. It think it’s important to do that.”
