The secrets hidden inside Area 51 appear to be safe for now, but about 100 people did show up near the Nevada military base for the much-hyped ‘Storm Area 51’ raid.
The group didn’t launch any raids but stood on the outskirts of the base overnight holding signs and wearing tinfoil hats.
However, at least two people were detained at the gathering – one for trying to cross over into a restricted area and another on a charge of public urination.
Earlier this week, two Dutch YouTubers were arrested and jailed after poking around near the base.
Are you disappointed, or is this about what you expected from the Area 51 raid? Why do you think it became such an internet sensation?
